The Best After Christmas Deals

As The Bargain Sisters, we are ALWAYS looking for the next best deal. Christmas may not be here yet, but we are already planning for some of the best after-Christmas sales!

Because they’re coming in at a steal right after the holiday, after-Christmas is the best time of year to stock up on all the gifts for next year. We know, we know—you’re barely recovered from this year’s holiday shopping, but trust us! Next year will be a total breeze. We are talking deep discounts on electronics, toys, and clothing. We also love to scroll through all the Christmas decor and snag some organizational totes along the way.

Let’s talk strategy: Our first stop is Christmas decor. We love stocking up on all the things we are going to need for next year, like Christmas lights, wrapping paper, and a new faux tree. As soon as Christmas is over, stores need the shelf space for Valentine’s Day, so you get the best after christmas sales. Make sure to shop early, though, because these items literally fly off the shelf! Maybe they’re taking notes from us, but Christmas decor deals are the first stop for all you bargain hunters.

Next up: Electronics. You heard us right! Forget what you’ve heard about Black Friday having the best electronic deals. The best after-Christmas deals are in the electronics department. You can snag some amazing bargains on electronics right after Christmas. Some are so good that at times Cassie wonders if she shouldn’t start celebrating Christmas a week late! We’re not ruling it out.

After electronics, we focus on toys to get the best after-Christmas deals. Oh my goodness, toys! We grab gifts for friends, cousins, and, of course, our kids. Last year after Christmas, our attics looked like Santa left us an extra Christmas. This is our favorite thing ever though because when an inevitable new friend’s birthday comes up that we weren’t expecting, we have a gift at the ready. Even better, there is no stress when your own child has a birthday coming up because you already planned and bought the gift on sale. Talk about preparation! Best feeling in the world.

Then, we wander to clothing. If you are still needing winter clothing (think jackets or sweaters) after-Christmas is a great time to buy. Also, if you don’t need more clothing because Santa did just come, size up for next year—not for you, obviously. For your kids!

Finally, we peep into the storage and organization aisles because we need to get all of our Christmas presents put away. It seems as though the stores know this and are wanting to help us out a bit with lots of displays right when you walk in.
