Perfect Pineapple Salsa for the Summer
We can’t get enough salsa in our lives. We literally eat salsa on everything, and this Perfect Pineapple Salsa pairs wonderfully with all the delicious foods for summer. As moms with little time, we refuse to make food that takes too long. Our schedules just don’t allow us to work in the kitchen for hours at a time (although we wish we could). So easy, quick, scrumptious food is a must to keep our families happy and full.
Tools Needed
Pineapple Corer
There is very little that is as delicious as a ripe pineapple. However, we get it, coring and slicing the pineapple can be so time consuming. This pineapple corer is easy, just chop the top off and it does everything else. Okay, you do have to twist it, but that is literally all.
Chopper
We both have had our chopper for over 3 years and will never go back. This thing is a time saver in the kitchen, which is an absolute must for us. Pineapple Salsa Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Cups finely diced Pineapple
- 1/3 cup minced Red Onion
- 1 Red Bell Pepper cored, seeded and finely
- diced
- 1 large Jalapeno seeds and ribs removed,
then minced - 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- salt to taste
Directions
- Place pineapple, red onion, jalapeno,
bell pepper and cilantro in a bowl. - Stir in the lime juice and salt;
- Eat immediately or cover and refrigerate
for up to 1 day before serving. We like eating it cold when all the flavors are mixed. - Serve!
