Online Shopping vs. In-Store Shopping on Black Friday
Good news first? The deals are the same in store and online.
But, just in case you need some added tips on whether or not to shop online or in-store, here’s our quick tips.
Online Shopping
First off, shopping in your PJs? Yes, please! Snagging those Black Friday online deals without moving an inch from your cozy couch is a big win. You’ve got price comparison tools and discount codes at your fingertips, making it a cinch to snag a bargain.
Plus, exclusive offers popping up in your email? Talk about convenience.
We personally love staying in and shopping from the comfort of our homes. The best part is we get to avoid all those long lines (they can be hours long, think Disneyland without the fun rides at the end!).
We also find that deals continue to drop and be restocked all day long online on Black Friday. Items sell out within minutes in the store and usually don’t restock until the next day.
In-Store Shopping
Now, hitting the stores in person… that’s a true shopping adventure.
The thrill of doorbusters and early bird specials can make it worth it if you’re the first in line. Plus, you get that instant gratification of taking your finds home the same day.
However, the crowds can be a bit much, and let’s not forget the parking lot wars. It’s a strategy game where patience and quick decision-making are your best allies.
So, whether you’re all about the digital hunt or you thrive in the hustle and bustle of the stores, your Black Friday can be a success with a little bit of planning and a whole lot of coffee.

Early Black Friday shopping
THERE ARE SO MANY EARLY BLACK FRIDAY DEALS ALREADY HAPPENING!
Target has started its Deal of Day, Amazon has Early Black Friday going, Walmart has Deals for Days, Kohl’s has Early Black Friday Deals and Best Buy has their Deal of the Day.
From our experience, the week before and after Black Friday is the best shopping week of the year.
A lot of people wait until Black Friday hoping to score the best deal.
We have seen over and over again that the deals leading up are just as good as Black Friday AND there is usually no mad rush to get the items.
So hands down, we suggest shopping NOW.
Then, IF you do find that the item drops in price don’t forget about the price match guarantee most stores are offering.
There are so many unknowns of Black Friday, one thing is for sure this year is going to be one for the history books. If you need some gifting inspo, check out our favorites for everyone on your list!
Black Friday Price Match GUARANTEE
If you’re worried about purchasing something and then finding it at a different retailer for a better price, take a deep breath, most retailers have a holiday price match guarantee.
What is a holiday price match guarantee?
It’s simple, if you find the same item at a better price at a competitor, or even the same retailer, you can get a refund for the price difference.
So, what retailers offer the magic?
Target, Best Buy, Walmart.com, and Kohl’s all have slightly different variations to help you get the best price….guaranteed!
A special nod to Target, who, during the holidays, will price match if an item from in store or online goes lower between the time of purchase and December 24th!
